Get your FRESH sushi on the go in Chester. Be gone with factory processed versions available elsewhere in the high street and supermarkets and go for the authentic deal. We've got an excellent choice for you to pick from. Come in to see our selection in the fridges or order what you require - all comes in a fantastically designed "The Sushi Bar" bag, with chopsticks, soy sauce, wasabi and pickled ginger.
Please note, we are able to sell alcohol with your takeout. So you can buy either of our Japanese beers, a bottle of sake, or one of our fine wines or Champagnes to go with your takeout.

We can cater any size of event from 5 people to 500 people. Providing either simply a mixed platter of sushi for your guests, right up to full staffing for your event. We even have a small sushi conveyor belt available to hire out if you want all the bells and whistles!

We've catered many prestigious events including supplying all the food and champagne for the launch of the new Hugo Boss store in Chester. We can easily produce any amount of food and deliver it on time if required, we've provided for many businesses on Chester business park, various birthday parties and a couple of very cool weddings.

The Sushi Bar is committed to serving local businesses.
We offer any number of options, from the perfect place for a business meeting or afternoon lunch, take out boxes delivered directly to your offices, platters made specially for conferences or events, and full scale catering including staff and alcohol for parties and opening events.
We can even work on arrangements to hire out our venue for Christmas parties or other celebrations - Seating around 24, many people find the restaurant the perfect size for this type of application.

How does The Sushi Bar Work?
The concept behind The Sushi Bar couldn't be more simple...
All our dishes on the conveyor belt are colour coded. Each colour corresponds to a price;
Yellow Plate £1.65, Orange Plate £2.15, Red Plate £2.65, Green Plate £3.15, Blue Plate £3.65 and Black Plate £4.95.
Simply grab what takes your fancy from the conveyor belt, or order something from the menu and when you are finished one of our friendly staff will count your coloured plates and total your bill.
Our waiting on staff will be on hand, as usual, to provide you with drinks, miso soup and anything else you may require.
Don't feel obliged to eat with chopsticks. Maki rolls are traditionally designed to be eaten with fingers in Japan and we're got spoons and forks available if you can't manage the rice!
All of our food is freshly prepared that morning. Our seafood is of the highest and freshest sashimi grade quality, and all our sushi is hand formed, unlike other conveyor belt restaurants who use robots.
