Bar
We pride ourselves in keeping a well stocked and maintained very competitively priced bar, with a wide selection of beers, wine's and spirits to suit every customer. We maintain our bar and cellar to the highest possible standards, and our hard work and attention to detail ensures you always end up with a perfectly chilled, pulled, poured or mixed drink of your choice.
The layout of the bar is traditional and beautiful, with a quiet seating area and cosy coal fire (during the winter months) moving through to a lively games room with a fully stocked juke box offering a fantastic selection of music and the downstairs pool room. Externally we have a well appointed beer garden with plenty of seating. The bar area is filled with comfortable seating and standing room during busier periods.
Pool
The cross foxes is Chester's premiere pool pub, and we are highly dedicated to the sport . We have 6 top quality pool tables in total - 4 in a large upstairs room away from the rest of the pub, and 2 downstairs. We ensure that each table is expertly positioned so that players will never be impeded in your shot.
Our players range from serious chester and district league and county players to social players who just play for fun.
Bagatelle
Bagatelle is the original, classic pub game of skill which has been played in English homes, pubs and social clubs for nearly 200 years.
The basic principle is very simple - to pot as many balls as you can!
