Francs enjoys a renaissance
This popular French restaurant has undergone an exciting revamp. The result is a stylish bistro offering great Gallic cuisine in atmospheric period surroundings.
Most dramatically, we have extended the restaurant to encompass all three floors, the top storey having never been used before. Now this intimate and atmospheric area is available for private hire. Throughout the new-look Francs there is a memorable period feel to the décor and furnishings. Brass lamps and ornate gilt-framed mirrors gleam among monochrome prints depicting French life and characters. Wooden floors, exposed brick and beams and, on the top floor, whirling Colonial-style fans all combine to create a charming ambience.
The à la Carte selection tempts the palate with examples of the very best in French cuisine and is available Monday to Friday, noon to 3pm and 5pm to 10pm and Saturday, noon to 10pm all day.
Prices vary, of course, but conform to Francs' trademark commitment to value for money. As you'd expect, an extensive list of wines from the choice vineyards of France has also been created to complement your meal.
