Nicola's Fund Luncheon
Tuesday 6th October.
A perfect opportunity to enjoy a two course lunch at 1539 in aid of Nicola's Fund which aims to improve the lives of children with cancer.
Places are £28.50 per person and include champagne reception, two delicious courses, and a £5 donation to the charity. Also in association with Soul Hair and Mococo silver jewellery who will be on hand with great advice and offers throughout lunch.

Set in the heart of Chester Racecourse, The Roof at ‘1539’ is an exclusive private members area for race days situated at the top of Restaurant 1539.
The lounge seats 40 and is fully inclusive of private facilities, offering: racing concierge, table service, specially selected menu available, extensive selection of wines and champagnes handpicked by our Sommelier, betting facilities, free car parking. We are inviting you to take advantage of this private members facility, an exclusive invitation.
Boasting panoramic views of the racecourse, The Roof will be open for all 13 race days. Members will be entitled to purchase one guest pass per race day for a minimal fee*, in addition each member will be allowed to invite two guests to join them on the terrace before the last race to enjoy after race drinks.

Chief Exec's Hell's Kitchen
On Friday 22nd May Chester Race Company's Chief Executive, Richard Thomas hosted Hell's Kitchen at 1539.
The evening was a brilliant success, the Chairman of the Board was Sommelier for the evening recommending some fabulous wines, and a Director of the Board was welcoming people along the red carpet and showing them to their tables.
The à la carte menu included Richard's signature dishes which were naturally the most popular on the night and were enjoyed with great compliments to the chef!

Best use of Local Produce Award
At the Chester Food and Drink Awards Restaurant 1539 won the Gold Award for 'Best Use of Local Produce in a Menu'.
We pride ourselves on using only the finest local produce ranging from poultry produced in Lancashire on Reg Johnson's farm to Vale of Clwyd Beef, Eaton Estate venison and Menai Mussels.
The award is accepted by Max Gnoyke, Consultant Chef, Phil Dougherty, General Manager of Chester Racecourse, and presented by Chester Food and Drink Chairman Stephen Wundke (L-R).
Hollyoaks Charity Event Launch - 16th March
Last week a host of celebrities flocked to 1539 to launch two special charity events - the Soapstar Football Challenge at Chester City Football Club and the Hollyoaks Charity Ball at Chester Racecourse, both to be held on Saturday 16th May.
Stars from Emmerdale, Coronation Street, The Bill, Eastenders and Hollyoaks will be joining forces to provide a fabulous day of entertainment with all proceeds being shared between Wirral's Claire House and Alder Hey's Imagine Appeal.
